Guangdong Haid Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Research Institute is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guangdong Haid Group Co., Ltd, which is recognized as a national key agricultural leading hi-tech enterprise, focusing on researching and developing core technologies for the Group's related industries. The Group comprises over 600 molecular companies worldwide, primarily involved in the research and development, production, and sales of livestock, poultry, and aquatic feed. They also focus on seedling, aquaculture, and animal protection products. Based on the business sectors and industrial development of the Group, the Institute focuses on researching and transforming the epidemiology and pathogenesis of animal diseases, detection technology, and comprehensive prevention and control measures. It specifically concentrates on three major areas: livestock and poultry diseases, aquatic diseases, and diagnostic reagents. Cumulatively, we have participated in over 50 national, provincial, and municipal science and technology projects. We have obtained over 80 million yuan in scientific and technological funds and have been honored with five ministerial and provincial awards for scientific and technological achievements. Additionally, we have developed four new veterinary drugs at the national level, secured over 60 patents for inventions, published more than 120 papers, and successfully transformed over 20 scientific and technological achievements, resulting in technology transfer funds exceeding 50 million yuan.
The research institute has been recognized as a new research and development institution in Guangdong Province. It is also acknowledged as the modern agricultural science and technology innovation center, enterprise key laboratory, and important livestock and poultry disease diagnostic technology academician workstation in Guangdong Province. Additionally, it serves as the veterinary genetic engineering vaccines and diagnostic reagents production, learning, and research bases in Guangdong Province. The institute also houses the enterprise postdoctoral mobile station. There are a total of 120 research and development personnel, consisting of 10 individuals with senior titles, 25 individuals with PhD degrees, and 6 post-doctoral fellows. The laboratory has been certified by CNAS and CMA, and is qualified for biosafety level II and GCP clinical trials for animal vaccines. Additionally, it is equipped with 20 experimental pilot bases. This platform serves as a reliable and robust scientific research platform, offering substantial support and assurance for the research, development, and transformation of new vaccine preparations, precise diagnostic technologies, and highly effective therapeutic products. |
| Responsibilities and description of the position £º |
1. Research on the prevention and control of livestock and poultry diseases: encompasses various areas such as epidemiology, isolation and identification of pathogenic microorganisms, culture techniques, and vaccine development.
2. Research on aquatic disease prevention and control technology: includes purification technology for major cultured species, targeting viral, bacterial, and parasitic sources. Additionally, research and development efforts are focused on micro-ecological preparations and the development of vaccines specifically designed for fish.
3. Research on diagnostic and detection technology: focuses on the development of various products. This includes molecular biology diagnostic products, immunological diagnostic products, as well as rapid detection products for feed mycotoxins and food drug residues. |
| Requirements for applicants£º |
1.Minimum of five years of research experience or a doctorate degree;
2.Have a formal job in the country of their nationality;
3. Have good language communication abilities in English or Chinese;
4.Physical and mental health, able to perform scientific research;
